This qualification reflects the role of building professionals who apply knowledge of structural principles, risk and financial management, estimating, preparing and administering building and construction contracts, selecting contractors, overseeing the work and its quality and managing construction work in building projects including residential and commercial with the following limitations:

CREDIT TRANSFER
Oxford College Australia allows students to apply for credit transfers if they have successfully completed equivalent units of competency at another RTO or authorized issuing organization. To be eligible, students must submit a Credit Transfer Application Form during enrolment, along with certified AQF certification or an authenticated VET transcript. All applications are verified before approval, and if a unit differs in title or code, a mapping process will determine equivalency.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process where skills and knowledge that you have gained through work and life experience and other unrecognized training can be formally recognized. Oxford College Australia has a process that has been structured to minimize the time and cost to applicants and provides a supportive approach to students wishing to take up this option. You should ideally apply for RPL at the time of enrolment and should receive a response within 15 business days.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Be aged 18 years or over
- Hold a Year 12 certificate (or its equivalent)
- Suitable language, literacy and numeracy skills to read and comprehend learning materials
- Have access to a computer with an internet browser, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF reader capabilities
- Have access to a stable internet connection
- INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ONLY: Have attained a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 (or its equivalent), or a minimum IELTS score of 5 when packaged with at least 10 - weeks of ELICOS (or its equivalent), or a minimum IELTS score of 4.5 when packaged with at least 20-weeks of ELICOS (or its equivalent).
